Description: A near perfect replication of traditional African thatching, each tile of Fiber Thatch blends into those above and below it to create a seamless and convincing thatched roof that is not subject to the same weathering and aging effects of the natural thatch materials. Use Tiki’s By Design’s Thatch Reed Ceiling board on the underside to complete the illusion. The bottom row of thatch can also be manipulated to create a more tropical look.

Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Both interior and exterior applications.

Fire Protection: Achieves a class A fire rating

Durability: Long lasting - the number one reason why customers chose this item over the real thing. As a synthetic product, it is not subject to the aging process that naturally occurs in our other natural products. Suitable for all outdoor conditions.

Size: Each panel is 31" x 17 1/2" and provides approximately 1.75sq ft of coverage per panel.

Ease of Installation: Easy to lay on existing roofs using screws or nails. Flexible spine allows for unusual roof contours, hips, and valleys. Tiles are spaced every 9".

Materials: Tiles are made from extruded and dyed PVC, and held together with a polyurethane bonding strip along the top edge of the panel.
