Description: Discovered along the steamy banks of the Dong Nai river, the distinctively knotty branches of this Vietnamese tree are fashioned into our new River Delta rustic fencing exclusively for Safari. The wood poles of this ecologically harvested alternative to bamboo and eucalyptus are air-dried, seasoned with linseed oil and threaded with 3/8” galvanized rod that is wrapped with white braided rope. River Delta Fencing is rigid and durable, yet flexible enough to follow along curved pathways and is ideal for unobstructed viewing in environments where
access is restricted. - New for 2010!
Appearance: Distinctive knotty poles create a very rustic look. Random height (+/- up to 8") poles are threaded with galvanized steel wire running horizontally through the poles. The wire is then wrapped with rope.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Perfect for exterior applications, this product can easily be used indoors as well.
Comm. vs. Res: Great for both commercial as well as residential applications. The aesthetically pleasing random top edge also dissuades patrons/guests from sitting atop the fence.
Size: 4ft and 6ft heights available by 8ft lengths.
Ease of Installation: Can easily be installed with new or existing posts
Strength: While not as strong as solid bamboo, the fence is still quite durable and is flexible enough to follow curves or contours of a winding foot path.
Privacy: Between 1 and 2 inches of space exist between each pole, so this is not ideal for enclosing private areas.
Treatment Process: Sanded and finished with linseed oil |
