Evergreen Screen
Description: This matte light green colored screen is made with solid, full-round cane. As a result, it is long lasting and exceptionally resistant to weathering effects. This product is ideal for hiding ugly chain link fence or to lend privacy to a screened patio, and is commonly used as a wall or ceiling decorative treatment.
Appearance: Very robust, solid, and full-round green cane, woven with plastic coated wire. Matte light green color.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Great for both interior and exterior projects.
Fire Protection: Yes, this can be done by spraying or painting the screen with Dura Series IV.
Durability: Resilient against weathering effects, this is a higher quality and hardier material than other rolled screening material commonly purchased elsewhere.
Size: 6'6"t x 9'9"w
Ease of Installation: Easy to install; use screws or nails, or if using to hide ugly chain link fencing simply use electrical ties or wire.
Strength: Not a free standing fencing material. It can be attached to existing fencing however.

Peeled Reed
Description: Made with river reed, this screen has had the chafing peeled from each reed to reveal the polished rich yellow color beneath. Very easy to install, and while not a particularly hardy material, it is very affordable and easily replaced as you need it. Peeled Reed is ideal for hiding ugly chain link fence or for lending privacy to screened-in patios, as well as a wall or ceiling treatment.
Appearance: Whole peeled and polished thin reed, glossy rich yellow in color, bound with vinyl-coated wire every 4".
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Interior applications preferable. Will not weather well when exposed to rain directly.
Fire Protection: Yes, sprayed or painted with Dura Series IV for exterior, or Dura Series III for interior work.
Durability: Not a particularly hardy product, this does best when out of the way of traffic, but inexpensive enough to replace often if this isn't possible or desirable.
Size: 6'6" x 16'3", 24lbs
Ease of Installation: Easy to install. Simply staple across the wire between the reeds to wall or ceiling, or tie to fencing using electrical ties.
Stainability: Does not take a stain well.

Shanghai Screen
Description: In this screening material, thin bamboo sticks are tightly threaded with black plastic coated wire. Available in three different color schemes, this very refined looking screening material is perfect for anything from a decorative wall ot ceiling treatment, to table runners, window dressings and privacy screening in home patios. All shanghai screens are individually dyed and built. As a result, there can be irregularities in colors and shades.
Appearance: Thin bamboo sticks threaded tightly together by black plastic coated wire. Comes in Red/Brown, Green/Black and Natural.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Best for interior applications, but can be used under a lanai or covered porch. This product should not be exposed directly to the elements or sunlight.
Fire Protection: Yes, this can be done by spraying or painting the screen with Dura Series IV.
Durability: While quite durable, like any natural product in an outdoor environment, there is a normal aging process. Lifespan can be prolonged by protecting product edges with trim, or by finishing the product with urethane.
Size: 6ft x 8ft roll
Ease of Installation: Extremely easy to install; stapled, nailed, or applied with contact adhesive. (TIP: Look at some of our other bamboo products to use as trim)

Spanish Heather
Description: Made from thick, coarse, dark red-brown heather stalks grown in Europe and bound with galvanized wire. This screening is very robust and long lasting. It is very easy to install as a wall or ceiling treatment, but is more often used as screening to hide chain link fence or other exterior applications since, initially, the heather is prone to shedding.
Appearance: Made from thick coarse heather stalks grown in Europe, and bound with rust resistant galvanized wire every 5". Overall dark brown/red color.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, but it as it is prone to shedding, it is typically not used indoors.
Fire Protection: Yes, this can be done by spraying the screen with Dura Series IV.
Durability: Robust and highly weather resistant. As with all natural products however, there is a normal aging process when exposed to the elements.
Size: 6'-6" x 9'-9" roll, 83 lbs
Ease of Installation: Easy to install. Simply staple across the wire between the bound stalks to wall or ceiling, or tie to fencing using electrical ties or wire.

White Bamboo Screen
Appearance: Glossy beige, near-white, natural bamboo coloration. This screening material is comprised of tonken bamboo tightly woven together with galvanized wire every 4".
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Best used for interior applications, but can be used under a lanai or covered patio, where it is protected from direct exposure to the elements.
Fire Protection: Yes, sprayed or painted with Dura Series IV.
Durability: Not only is bamboo a naturally hardy material, the bamboo is cut at its node to prevent water accumulation in the tops of each stick in the screen. (Tip: make sure the node side is on top when installing)

Boma Willow Screen
Description: Reminiscent of authentic boma screen from Africa, this uniquely rustic screen is ideal for interior themed installations and exhibits. Boma, the Zulu word for “protected meeting place” was traditionally an area surrounded by tightly bound vertical sticks of different diameters up to 8 feet high and held together with leather or grass rope bindings. The enclosure created by boma screens was used by the Chief to hold court, receive visitors and dispense tribal justice. Boma screens were designed to protect people and their cattle from predators and poachers.
Appearance: Willow twigs of varying diameters and lenghts are bound together to create a rustic and authentic fence.
Grade (Int. vs. Ext.): Ideal for interior and exterior installation use.
Comm. vs. Res: Can be used to theme rooms for commerical or residential projects
Durability: Not recommended for use in high public traffic areas
