Description: By alternating the back and front side of banana bark strips, this matting possesses a bold tan and rich brown-checkered appearance. This hand woven diamond weave is supplied in 4ft x 8ft sheets, and is extremely easy to install. Typically used in decorative wall and ceiling treatments, this versatile product can also be used in resin-poured tables and countertops.

Appearance: Hand woven diamond weave. The weave is created using the back and front sides of the skin alternately to create a checkered pattern.

Description: Known as Lahala Mat in its native countries of origin, these 4ft x 8ft sheets are hand woven using palm leaves to form a 1" diamond checkered pattern. While the overall color is a light sandy beige color, the dried palm leaves have their own very subtle hue differences, and when used as a decorative wall or ceiling treatment, these subtle color differences provide charm and character. This product is also often used under resin-pour counters and tabletops.


Appearance: Also called Lahala mat. Natural palm leaves are woven together in a diamond checkered pattern. Overall sandy beige appearance with subtle hue contrasts in each woven piece.

Langara Weave

Description: Thin blades of grass are woven loosely together into a burlap-like sheet. Its uniform light beige color gives subtle texture to walls and ceilings, and can also be used in anything from resin-covered counters, to gift-wrapping. Relatively easy to install, one must make sure to pay attention to the direction of the weave to ensure straightness.


Appearance: Thinly and fairly loosely woven grass with a uniformly light beige color. Similar to Burlap.

Fire Protection: Yes - achieves class A interior fire rating when soaked in Series III.

Durability: Despite its rather delicate appearance, this is quite durable once applied to a backing. It accepts a urethane coating quite well, which provides additional lifespan. Finish with trim to protect the product edges.
